BFS Donated Wooden Tables and Chairs to Foundation for Slum Child Care

On Friday 6 January 2017, Bangkok Flight Services (BFS) donated wooden tables and chairs to the Foundation for Slum Child Care under the Royal Patronage of H.R.H Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra to help children in the slums of Bangkok to have a better life.

BFS led by Mr. David Ambridge, General Manager – BFS Cargo, a donation of 19 wooden tables and 184 wooden chairs was made to the Foundation for Slum Child Care (FSCC), represented by Ms. Jitrapa Himathongkam, Secretary of the Foundation at the new FSCC child care center in On-Nut (On-Nut 88.)

After seven years of continued support from BFS the new FSCC On-nut child care center, called “House of Hope” is now completed.

This donation was part of the company’s policy to exercise good social responsibility and support the development of a learning society for disadvantaged children.

The Foundation for Slum Child Care was founded in 1981. The aims of the foundation is to improve the quality of life for babies and young children in the slums of Bangkok.
